While the fireworks are popping, you should be popping off with these rocket Jell-O shots. With festive layers of Jell-O, these vodka-infused shots are the best way to keep your party guests satisfied this July 4th. While we love our red, white, and boozy margaritas, they’re not as convenient when you’re serving a crowd. This recipe yields around 20 shots, perfect for pleasing a big holiday bash.
These layers may look fancy to create, but truly couldn’t be easier to whip up. Our top tip? Don’t skip the cooling time. You’re going to want to wait till your layers are completely cool but not entirely firm, around 10-15 minutes depending on the layer. While you may be eager to get these rockets going, if you cheat on the chill times, your layers won’t be as clean as defined—one of the most eye-catching things about these shots.

Directions
- Step 1In a small bowl, combine boiling water and berry Jell-O mix and stir until completely dissolved. Stir in vodka.
