It's been nearly four years since Popeyes introduced its chicken sandwich and subsequently turned our worlds upside down with its perfectly seasoned chicken and buttery brioche buns. The sandwich remains a staple on the Popeyes menu, and for the next 10 days you can get one for free!
Starting Thursday, June 29, Popeyes will roll out a new BOGO offer that lets you score a free chicken sandwich. To get your freebie, all you have to do is order any chicken sandwich combo by visiting the Popeyes website or using the restaurant's app.
The offer ends on July 9, so you'll be able to snag a free sandwich just in time for National Fried Chicken Day on July 6.
Currently, there are several chicken sandwich variations to choose from at Popeyes. There's the original chicken sandwich, which is also available spicy. It comes topped with Popeyes' barrel cured pickle slices and classic mayo.
Next up is the blackened chicken sandwich. Also available spicy, the blackened chicken sandwich features a filet that has been marinated in Popeyes blackened seasoning and fried without the breading. It also comes topped with pickles and classic mayo.
Lastly, the heartiest chicken sandwich option of them all is the bacon & cheese sandwich. This sandwich is similar to the OG chicken sandwich, but also includes Havarti cheese and bacon.
With such a variety of sandwiches, it sounds like we'll be making multiple trips to Popeyes over the next 11 days.
