M&S has just launched a handy pre-packaged kit for making chocolate covered strawberries on the go!
First spotted in M&S by @newfoodsuk on Instagram, the packs look perfect for posh picnics.
The strawberries look pretty juicy, and according to people in the comments the dipping sauce has a mousse-like texture.
However, there were lots of comments on the picture all saying the same thing: "how much?"
A 350g pack of strawberries with milk chocolate dipping sauce from M&S will set you back four hard-earned pounds, which some foodies on Instagram say is just a little too much.
One comment said, "time to take out a loan 😂," while another explained: "you know it will be cheaper to buy strawberries and chocolate separately."
If you're in a rush and need that strawberry and chocolate fix, stat, then this M&S box is for you. However, if you're looking for a budget option, then TikTok has the answer.
In a bid to make melted chocolate more... portable... people have been melting whole bars of chocolate by putting them outside in the sun. It works like this - open the your chocolate bar and set it out in a sunny spot while you eat the savoury, snacky bits of your picnic. Then, once the sun has worked its magic, there should be lovely melted chocolate to dip strawberries or other fruit into.
It's a genius hack, but definitely one for sunny days only.
