Ingredients
- 450 g
beef mince
- 1
sweet onion, diced
- 4
cloves garlic, crushed
- 660 ml
water
- 400 g
tomato sauce
- 1
(400g) can chopped tomatoes, drained
- 1 tbsp.
dried Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp.
salt
- 1 tsp.
Freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp.
sugar
- 350 g
spaghetti
- 50 g
freshly grated Parmesan
- 2 tbsp.
chopped parsley
Directions
- Step 1In a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, add beef, onion, and garlic and cook until beef is cooked through. Drain fat.
- Step 2Add water, tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and sugar. Bring to a boil over high heat. Break spaghetti in half and add to pan. Reduce heat to a simmer and cover. Cook, stirring often, until pasta is cooked through, 12 to 15 minutes.
- Step 3Stir in the Parmesan and parsley just before serving.
