Dreams can come true.

The Texas-based restaurant chain Fuddruckers is best known for its large toppings bar, unlimited cheese sauce, and, most importantly, enormous hamburgers. If you've never been to a Fuddruckers, you may be shocked by the wide selection of meat on the menu: elk, bison, kobe beef, and ostrich burgers. The options are seemingly endless and a little overwhelming. So I tried 22 of their most popular menu items to make this list. Here are the five best things to order at Fuddruckers.

1

Smokehouse Burger

It's juicy and cheesy and, crucially, crunchy from the onion rings. The combination of hickory-smoked aioli and smokehouse bacon tastes like you took a trip to Texas. Since you're already getting onion rings in your burger, go for the waffle fries on the side.

2

Chipotle Bison Burger

It's slightly meatier than the average bison burger, almost like a homemade meatloaf. The meat is free-range and pasture-raised, making the burger slightly more premium when it comes to the price, but it's well worth it.

3

Avocado Crunch Chicken Sandwich

Going to a burger restaurant and ordering a chicken sandwich is a bold move, but this one is worth it. The chicken breast is seasoned and juicy; no dryness in sight. The mix of melty pepper jack cheese (that's actually peppery!) and spicy ranch dressing keeps the sandwich from being a dessert in your mouth.

Beyond Sausage Sweet Italian

Don't bother with the beyond burger when you can mix it up with the sweet Italian Beyond sausage piled high with peppers, onion, and pickles. The sausage has a snap even though it's completely vegan!

5

Chocolate Shake

The chocolate shake is hands-down the best milkshake—don't even bother with the rest. It's rich, creamy, and the perfect size for sharing.
