Corn on the cob is the ultimate summer barbecue veggie. Whether you steam it, grill it, or toss it in the air fryer, corn on the cob is the perfect side to a good smash burger or grilled steak. But say you cooked up a few too many ears—what do you do? While leftover corn is perfect for corn salad or cowboy caviar, there are also a few ways to easily reheat corn on the cob.

Reheating Corn On The Cob On The Stove

If you have plain, unseasoned corn on the cob, you can easily reboil it. Bring a pot of water to boil and place the ears in for a couple of minutes, or until heated to your liking. You can also steam them on the stove using a vegetable steamer.

Reheating Corn On The Cob In The Oven

Leftover corn on the cob can also be reheated in an oven preheated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. First you'll want to wrap the ears in aluminum foil. You can even add a bit of water, butter, or seasonings. Corn on the cob can also be reheated in a toaster oven—just make sure it's set to the oven setting.

Reheating Corn On The Cob In The Microwave

If you're reheating a single ear of corn, the easiest way to do it is the microwave. Delish's Food Director Robert Seixas recommends putting the corn on a bowl or plate, placing a damp towel over it, and microwaving for 1 minute, making sure to flip it after 30 seconds.

Reheating Frozen Corn

Freezing corn—once it's off the cob—is a great way to enjoy it year-round. It can easily be reheated in the microwave or stovetop with a dash of water or sautéed with a bit of oil or butter and seasonings.
